Serving Those Who Serve
First Responders, Police Officers, and More
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Responders and Law Enforcement Officers face a variety of trauma, tragedy, and emotionally distressing situations in their efforts to save lives. Serve Ministries, Inc. (SMI) understands the challenges these professionals face, which are often overlooked. That is why we are constantly looking for new ways to meet their needs through outreach programs, small groups, and our Chaplaincy Program.
The SMI Chaplaincy Program is designed to educate, equip, mentor, and develop community chaplains (both volunteer and professional) to serve in First Responder agencies. The demand is overwhelming, as we are frequently contacted by agencies that have never had a Chaplain. We are able to advise those agencies of the need and the response has been incredible. We are placing new chaplains in Police Departments, Fire/EMS Stations, and Corrections Facilities. We need people with a good heart to serve them. If you've been praying about this and believe this is for you, we'd like to help you get started right away. SMI can assist in placing Chaplains with agencies in need.

Support for First RespondersAlthough First Responders risk their lives to save and serve others, they themselves will experience physical, psychological, social, and spiritual distress. Our chaplains, small groups, and online resources document the issues they and their loved ones face. Please consider making a donation, volunteering, or even becoming a chaplain today. |
